Here am i. Send me!
In Isaiah 6:8, God announces, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Isaiah replied, “Here am I. Send me!” This is the heart of men and women, who have left, or are leaving China, being sent by God here to reach Mandarin speaking people here in the United States and beyond. Through divine appointments, our Pacific Mission Network has had the blessing of extending God’s Kingdom with this amazing men and women. It is very early in the process, but God is moving!
One example is Joshua and Coco Yang. Their daughter started college in the Orlando area and while there, Joshua sensed God’s call to reach people in that area. After praying with his wife, Joshua stayed in Orlando and began seeking God for how to minister. He began to reach out to people he met and began sharing Jesus with them. He has also been preaching and helping a local church in the Orlando area. Back in China, he and his wife started schools for children with special needs as a vehicle to minister and share the Gospel with families. Joshua, sensing God’s leading, is presently praying and working to start a school in the Orlando area. They are in the process of getting visas for his wife to join him, as well as their other daughters. When they obtain their visas, they will look to establish a school and other ways to reach people in that area.
Bob Ransom and his office have been instrumental in helping with the visa processing. They have worked tirelessly and the Yangs, as well as others who are coming from China, are so appreciative and thankful for the Missionary Church. They are grateful and blessed to be a part of the Missionary Church. Joshua is now licensed as a credentialed minister of the Missionary Church and when asked what his vision for ministry is, Joshua replied, “To train up other workers, to go in pairs and reach people in every state.”
What an example of what the Missionary Church is all about, “Multiplying disciples, churches, and networks to the fourth generation.” With their heart of “Here am I. Send me!”, this is just the start of what God is doing to reach Mandarin speaking people through the Missionary Church.
