Spontaneous baptisms

We knew we had some who wanted to Go Public with their faith in Jesus but what happened next was utterly amazing.
We knew of the 11-12 going public this past Sunday….but after our worship set and the message which was about the Holy Spirit and moving over us, we begin baptizing those 12 people and the atmosphere was contagious and full of life.
Before I left home I grabbed 10 extra towels and some extra soccer shorts…..(simply because we have a bunch of them in our house because all these M&M’s in the house who like to play.) I came with an expectation of MORE!
When we finished baptizing those 12, the last one was M3….Micaiah our third son was all smiles and as I was holding him and describing how God said to his son, I am well pleased, I simply asked if there was any more who had a desire to go public because we brought extra clothes for them and prepared the way!
1 person just stood up in the back and said I do and made their way forward. Then another person on the front row. Another adult on the far side came forward. You could tell something was going on and God was on the move. The worship team kept on playing, people were praying, and no one was leaving.
We watched as older men come down, teens, and women. All of them were coming forward to say they wanted the world to know they followed Jesus. When we were done a total of 10 more people came forward and we just dunked 22 new believers Sunday morning! It was the exact number of towels and shorts we had available.
A college student texted me and said we just sat in a 3 hour worship service and it only felt like 30 minutes. He had no clue what time it was. Another family said who has grown up in church said for the past 37 years of their life they have never seen or experienced anything like it and declared it a day they will never stop talking about. I’ve got no words accurate words that can describe this moment. I’m overwhelmed, blessed, and humbled because I’ve God allowed me to experience this moment in history!!! Thank you for praying, living, and loving this out with us! You are a difference maker!!!!
Last, Here is the utterly amazing part according to Hab. 1:5. Since Sunday we have had 7 more people ask about going public this Sunday. I don’t know what will happen….but I do know this…Jesus will be made famous and we will continue to plunder hell and take some back! Amen and Amen!!!!
